I had a little time to kill this afternoon, so I went for a wander around Camden in search of new street art. Sure enough I found this bold new piece by Tony Boy near Camden Mews.
Ever hungry for more, I continued on my little adventure and snapped a few more pieces. Wherever possible, I have added the artist’s name, however, as is the way with street art, this is often a lot easier said than done. Many artists do not sign their work or other more unscrupulous painters have been known to scribble over an artist’s tag. On some occasions, I consulted the brilliant London Calling Blog (who have been known to find works around Camden before me) for names. Anyway, enjoy.
Superb. Well up there with the best of the street art we say in San Francisco’s Mission District last year – see http://www.travelwithgrace.me and look for ‘Murals on a Mission’. (A plug for the little lady there!). Loving the dispatches out here in Darkest Costa Rica.
just wow. I imagine this would prompt me to walk more knowing such beautiful pieces waited around this or that corner.
There is so much brilliant stuff out there and hardly anyone sees it, or rather looks for, or at it. Paradoxically, with too many face glued to mobile screens some are bound to be reading your posts standing next to a work of art featured on it !
