As much of a disappointment as it was to see last month’s mural in Stucley Place being defaced almost as soon as it had been painted, it looks as though that unfortunate piece has been succeeded by this work by Australian artist James Reka:
Just a short post today as I have quite a lot on at the moment. Incidentally, this is my 200th published post on Critical Dispatches and I also found out at the weekend that I have been long-listed for the 2016 Blog Awards Ireland, which is nice. I hope you’re all doing well and I will check-in again later in the week.
You can now follow my adventures on Instagram here.
I’m glad to see the determination here and I like the new mural.
We have an extensive mural arts program in Philadelphia (I live in a suburb of the city) and people take tours to see them. I have developed a love for this form of art and thanks for showing me ones I’d never see in person.
Congrats. Love your pics of graffiti art
Congrats on the nomination.
Great work on the nomination.
Congratulations on the nomination!
