I woke this morning to a rather peculiar text message from my employer warning that transport around the office had been disrupted due to a major fire in a West London tower block. Knowing nothing more of the incident, I quickly went to BBC News and was staggered by the images of Grenfell Tower ablaze in the early hours of this morning. When I got into work, I ran up to the roof and was able to take this footage of the tower hurling smoke into the morning air. I’m sure you can agree, it’s an alarming sight.

I’ve been keeping up with this from Australia, it’s so crazy! I hope no one got hurt or worse.. But I read somewhere it’s highly likely unfortunately. One of the worst ways too go 🙁
