i first read, about this advent this morning, only now am i beginning to come to terms with this morning statement, now shaking the man’s hand and staring straight into his eyes mean even more than i choose to wish!
A sweet goodbye. I feel quite connected to this loss, even though I never listened to his music, but only knew his work through the artist Jeremy Deller. What a cultural icon!
I was shocked and saddened to hear of David Bowie’s passing. His idiosyncratic work made him one of the most influential icons of this generation. His family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.
??❤️
I woke up with this sad news and can’t believe this happened. He’s a true artist with a clear vision, and he will be truly missed.

So sad. I met him at s sit-in at Hornsey Art College, London in 1967. Loved his music, loved his imagination. He’ll be missed by so many people.
You met him? That is very cool!
What a perfect sentence.
Never was my cup of tea, so to speak. Death is so final and for all who revered him, I am sorry for your loss.

I’m still not quite accepting he’s gone. I didn’t even know the guy, personally, but it’s so sad and the world is a less colourful place without him 🙁
🙁
He’s gone to Mars to culture-up the place.
Best tribute yet! Thank you.
I loved him! His ‘Glass Spider Tour’ in 87′ was one of the best concerts I have ever been to!
He really made the grade . . .
