A Billion in the Bank

Every day for the last year, I have bought the exact same £100,000-prize-scratch-card. With the exception of a few small wins (my largest was £10), as yet, I haven’t struck it rich. It is now getting to the point whereby I am no longer buying the tickets with the hope of winning the jackpot but to add to my losing-lottery-ticket collection. On the occasions when I win smaller amounts (£1-2 wins), I’m actually a little reluctant to claim the money as it would invole trading in the ticket. I am now beginning to understand the mindset of those unfortunate oddities appearing on A&E’s Hoarders.

  1. So what are you going to do with all the old cards? I am sure there is some sort of art installation idea to be made from them. Or maybe a carpet!

  2. Ha ha, somewhere there’s a modern art museum that doesn’t know what’s going to hit it. There’s always bonfire night next year to consider.
